Murchison falls National Park entry Fees is USD40, Foreign residents pay USD30, East Africans and Ugandans pay 20,000sh. This fees are valid for financial year 2020 t0 2022 and will be subjected to change after 2022.
Murchison falls National Park entry Fees are the levy that are set by the government of Uganda through the Wildlife governing body that is Uganda Wildlife Authority. The conservation fees are paid by all guests that want to enjoy the beauty of the pearl of Africa in Murchison falls national park. Murchison falls National Park is one of the scenic protected areas in Uganda gifted by nature. The park hosts one of the world’s most powerful waterfalls called the “devils corridor”

The Murchison falls National Park conservation Fees are paid in cash at the park gates before entering to the park. Currently the government has also introduced the cashless payments methods where the guest can use his or her credit card for paying the park entry fees as like in Serengeti National park. According to the government plans they are in the move to remove all cash payments in all the gates of Uganda national Parks as they are moving with the current technology to use only credit cards. Like any other park in Uganda, all conservation fees are paid per person and valid for 24 hours from the time of entry.
Payments are allowed in two currencies those are Uganda shillings which is our local currency and US Dollars. All foreigners and foreign residents pay in USD and if they want to pay in local currency they are subjected to the current Foreign Exchange rate which is set the Uganda Wildlife Authority. The East African residents are allowed to pay in Uganda shillings. To All the park entry fees to all Ugandan national parks are valid 24 hours from the time of entry to the park. This allows the guest to do park activities that are included at the park entry fees like Game drives. There are other private activities at the park which are not included like Boat cruise, Chimpanzee tracking, research fees, community walks, crater visit and others.
The Murchison falls national park fees are used to promote the conservation works at the park. Its from your contribution through these fees p that the park has been voted as the best park not only in Uganda but entire Africa. The park has stood at its park to fight against poaching through sensitizing the locals and training more rangers
The other set of Murchison falls National Park entry Fees are the annual park entry fee which are only given to Ugandans, East African citizens and Foreign residents with valid working permit of more than 1 year. The East African citizens are: Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan.

Please note that the vehicle entry fees are charged per entry not per day to the park.
The landing fees are independent of the park individual entry fees of Murchison falls national park.
The en-route pilots are not liable to the park entry fees of Murchison falls national park if they stay for less than 2 hours
Guests are also subjected to 5000sh ferry crossing fee if you’re staying on the Southern part of the park.
Please note that: All game drives in Murchison falls national park are done on the Northern part of the park.
