The gorilla permits are booked as early as 3 months depending on the season. The Uganda gorilla permit costs 700 usd and this is valued for a single gorilla trekking.

Gorilla safari in Uganda is best done during the dry season that is from June to October and from December to February.  Bwindi impenetrable national park is a rain forest and rainfall is expected any time of the day even if its dry season.
