6 Days Masai mara Safari
This 6 days masai mara safari offers a thrilling experience of visiting of the most popular wildlife destination in the continent , famous for the annual wildebeest migration ( masai mara national reserve) as well as naivasha and nakuru yet another birding destination.
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Day 1 of our 6 days Masai Mara Safari starts from Nairobi at your hotel where our driver guide meets you and brief you on the itinerary as you enjoy the breakfast. After breakfast we transfer to Masai Mara national Reserve a home of African big 5.
Our drive is around 5 hours with prominent stop at African cultural towns like in Narok for brief craft shoping and African bits. We proceed to our lodge which we reach around lunch time, enjoy the lunch as we rest from long drive. In the evening after lunch go for brief evening game drive to search for animals like cheetahs, lions, leopards, zebras mention but a few. Return back to our lodge to catch up with our dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Masai Mara
Have an early breakfast at the lodge before we go for today’s action of our 6 days Masai Mara Safari. We will move with parked lunch boxes as we go deep in the wilderness to feel the fresh breeze of nature. Going closure to the animals in their natural habitat moving freely roaming around looking for the food of the day. Early morning game drives are much rewarding in that most of the animals are more active when the weather is still cool and the grass has dues especially during dry season. Retire back to our lodge for refreshing evening as we wait for our dinner while memorizing the experience of the day.
Day 3: Masai Mara
Day 3 of 6 days Masai Mara Safari, wake up early for breakfast before we go for half day game drive in the open plains of Masai mara looking for its permanent residents like lions, cheetahs, buffalos, oribi, Giraffes and others. We return back to our lodge for lunch and some rest, after lunch we drive back to the bush once more to search for what we might have missed in the morning game drives. In the evening return back to our lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Masai Mara to Naivasha
Depart Masai mara national reserve for lake Naivasha after breakfast. We check out with game en-route leave Masai Mara national reserve for lake Naivasha passing through beautiful scenic view of the Great Rift Valley region. We reach to your lodge at lunch time and check inn, we have our lunch and later in the afternoon game drive with a visit to Hells Gate National Park which allows Hiking, Bicycling ride, Rock climbing and photography of wildlife and a visit to geothermal power plant. Later dinner and overnight
Day 5: Naivasha
Lake Naivasha is the highest and purest of all the Rift Valley Lakes at 1880 m above sea level. This area is a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 450 species of recorded birds in the area. A small islet on the lake is home to a number of wildlife. Visitors can enjoy a boat ride safari as they view wildlife and birds from the tranquil lake. A private ranch (Kongoni Game Sanctuary) is located in the area which is a home to lions, leopards, cheetah and some translocated Gravys zebras. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay
Day 6: Naivasha to Nakuru
After our cup of tea, we have a morning game drive in search for what we missed in the previous game drives before we drive to Lake Nakuru National park. The drive takes around 1 hour only be dropped to the accommodation of your plans for the next plans of your trip.
