Day 1 Arusha to Serengeti national park

Healthy continental breakfast will be served at your Arusha hotel at 7:00 a.m depending on the time of the flight. Following that, you will be picked up and driven to the airport for your planned flight to Serengeti National Park. The flight takes roughly an hour, depending on how many stops the flight makes at different airstrips along the route. A home of the famous and the largest animal migration on planet earth  that is wildebeest migration is also dominated by the highest population of predators. Depending on the arrival time of the flight, we will proceed for the game drive before we drive to our lodge. Enjoy the fresh breeze of the wilderness as birds sing welcoming songs for the visitors. During the game drive you will encounter different animal species like the African big 5 those are Rhinos, Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions and leopards. Other animals include hippos, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, Baboons, hyenas, crocodiles, oribi and many others. Day 2 Full day Serengeti national park

After our healthy breakfast we start our safari experience through the central Serengeti National Park. Our game drives will give you great opportunities to explore the best parts of the endless plains of Serengeti. You will have chnace to see a wide range of animals like lions, leopards, Hyenas, Cheetahs, Elephants, Rhinos, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Kobs, Wildebeests and many others. Day 3 Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast at the lodge/camp, we depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area. We will have an optional stopover at Olduvai Gorge. This area is boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.5 Days Flying Safari Tours in Tanzania

We arrive at the crater entry in time for lunch due to slow drive with game drive enroute. We will then descend over 600 meters into the bottom of the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro crater supports a vast variety of animals. This makes game drives at the crater unique and rewarding with great opportunity to see large number of animals at small area. Some of the most though animals include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here.

After our game drive we ascend out and drive to our lodge for refreshing moments, dinner and overnight.

 

Day 4 Ngorongoro crater to Tarangire

Today we head to Tarangire National Park after our breakfast at the lodge with just a short drive through beautiful coffee plantations.  We will be welcomed by the huge Boaboab tree species and the local Maasai people. After we go for a wonderful game drive in search for the game like: giraffe, zebra, buffalo and, in particular elephants can be seen in large numbers. Predators such as lions and leopards are also regularly spotted here. We will return to the park headquarters for our lunch break. In the evening go for evening game drive in search for more big game along the Tarangire river. Later retire and drive to our lodge for refreshment, dinner and overnight

Day 5 Tarangire to Lake Mayara to Arusha

We visit Lake Manyara for animal sightings with options for a cultural visit in the nearby village of Mto Wa Mbu. Lake Manyara National Park is located in the Great Rift Valley and the park maintains the green forest which is watered by underground water streams from the Ngorongoro highlands. The highlights of Lake Manyara are the tree-climbing lions as well as thousands of pink flamingoes, hot springs, elephants, wildebeest, impala, zebra, hippopotamus and various bird species. The journey ends with a return afternoon drive of approximately 2 hours back to Arusha.
