1. Over 1000 African Elephants

About 58 elephant families of 300 adult males have been recorded at the park.

Rare tree climbing lions which can also only bee seen in Serengeti national park, Lake manayara national park and Queen Elizabeth national park are among the other animal species present at the park. With over 100 tree climbing lions  registered at the park, they are readily seen. The lions are still chilling on the branches of the Acacia trees, according to guests. These lions can also be seen openly walking along the main road, particularly early in the morning and later in the evening as the sun sets. Buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, dik-diks, hyenas, and gazelles are among the animals found in the region. About 50 species of animals live in the park on a regular basis.

2. Over 400 bird species

The abundance of bird species in Amboseli National Park is another focus.
Many aquatic birds use the park as a breeding ground because of its proximity to the ocean.

3. Best views of Mount Kilimanjaro

The strong back drop of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, is one of the highlights of Amboseli National Park. When visiting the park, visitors can enjoy scenic direct views of the world’s highest free-standing peak.
The park is just a few kilometers from the mountain, allowing visitors to get a good view of the scenery. This is particularly noticeable during the evening sunset or early morning as the African sun rises.

4. Observation Hill
