4-Days Gorilla and Queen Elizabeth Safari, track Mountain gorillas in Bwindi and enjoy unique wildlife experience of tree climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth. End the trip with great adventure of refreshing memories in Lake Buyonyi
Day one: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth:
After breakfast drive to Queen Elizabeth National park with a stopover at Equator for pictures then proceed the journey entering the park at afternoon Check in at your accommodation facility as you wait for your lunch. After lunch, take on an afternoon Launch cruise along Kazinga Channel one that joins Lakes Edward and George. The cruise is a wonderful way to see hippo, buffalo, kob and the occasional Nile crocodile (which up until recently did not inhabit this area) and a spectacular bird watching on the water bank. Many who experience the launch cruise consider it the high light of their entire African safari. Dinner and overnight Engiri Game Lodge
Day two: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi
After breakfast, we go for morning game drive through Ishasha sector of the park famous for tree climbing Lions. We shall go for a game drive in search for the tree climbing lions. Ishasha of Queen Elizabeth national park is among few destination in the world where you can see tree climbing lions. Some others are Lake Manyara NP and Serengeti National park . we may have a chance for other animals like the Topis, Uganda Kobs, Buffaloes to mention but a few in search for lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Hyena, Giant Forest Hogs, and other game, we have a chance for a variety of savannah birds. There after we shall drive to Bwindi Impenetrable NP check in our lodge for dinner and overnight at Ruhondenza Lodge
Day three: Gorilla trekking and Buyonyi
After breakfast and briefing by experienced park rangers and with a picnic lunch, embark on a trek in search for the Mountain gorillas. These massive primates are extremely rare believed to be only 700 remaining. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas spent the previous day. The thrill of spending time with and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave us with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as the little ones play and interact. If finished early we will go for Batwa community walk. After we then drive to lake Buyonyi for the refreshing evening. We can have brief boat ride at the lake as we look for the African sun set at the lake. Check in our accommodation for overnight at Lake Buyonyi Overland Resort
Day four: Departure
After breakfast drive back to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight, end of services
This includes accommodation and meals, vehicle hire with fuel and driver guide. One gorilla permit per person these are booked in advance for they are sold on first come first serve basis and only confirmed with cash, boat ride in Lake Buyonyi
The price does not include tips, drinks and any other item of personal nature e.g. laundry, personal insurances
