10 days Uganda wildlife Safari

10 Days Uganda wildlife safari is the excellent gateway Uganda encounter that gives you the great wildlife experience with a mixture of primates and African Big 5. This 10 Days Uganda wildlife safari is available throughout the year.

Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe international Airport

Met by our guide and transferred to Kampala check on your lodge for Dinner and over night

Day 2: Kampala to Murchison falls National Park.

After breakfast Drive to Murchison Falls National Park, have a stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking. This is the beginning of our wildlife experience of African big 5.10 Days Uganda wildlife safari In Uganda its only in Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where one can see Rhinos in the wilderness. Have lunch break after Rhino tracking we have lunch break then continue to the park, pass by the top of the falls to view the magnificent falls, here we have a chance to see the Pel’s fishing owl, Rock Prantincoles and many others.

Day 3: Morning Game drive and Afternoon Boat

Morning game drive; Here may have a chance to see the Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Hartebeests, Oribis, Buffaloes, Elephants to mention but a few. Afternoon we take a cruise to the bottom of the falls, a magical trip through some beautiful scenery. The  whole of the 50 meters wide Nile River is forced into a gap only 7 meters wide – the immense force of the water and the views of the falls are awe inspiring here we may be lucky to see Crocodiles, schools of Hippos, a variety of water birds we may also see animals as they come to the river to quench their thirst, the chances here we have are for Giraffes, Elephants, Cape buffaloes and sometimes Lions as they come to ambush prey, overnight

Day 4:   Murchison falls to Kibale Forest National Park

On this day we will drive southward down the western edge of Uganda, through winding agricultural lands, where villagers and their children show their friendly nature and wave out and you may glimpse the Ugandan way of rural life. We will enter the crater-lake region located underneath the magnificent Rwenzori Mountains. Dinner and overnight at our Lodge

 Day 5: chimpanzee trekking

After an early morning breakfast, walk to the briefing point in Kibaale NP reported to be home to the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in the world. Thirteen (13) different species have been identified here. We shall go for Chimp tracking where we have a chance to see a variety of other primates like the Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, Vervet, L’Hoerst and Red tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons, Red, Black and white Colobus Monkeys, afternoon swamp walk in Bigodi wetland for a variety of primates we may have missed in the forest. Overnight at our Lodge

Day 6: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth

Morning transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP, we have a chance to view the Rwenzori Mountains from short range. Morning game drive through Kasenyi tracks and Kob mating grounds in search for lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Hyena, Giant Forest Hogs, and other game, we have a chance for a variety of savannah birds. Overnight at our lodge

Day 7:  Morning Game drive and Afternoon Boat

Day 8 : Queen To Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park Via Ishasha

 Morning drive to Ishasha sector, this area is famous for tree-climbing lions and driving underneath the huge fig trees is an experience you will never forget, as you may find the lions lying in the upper branches we may arrive for a game drive in search for tree climbing Lions, Overnight at our lodge depending on where we get the gorilla permits

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking

 

After breakfast and briefing by experienced park rangers and with a picnic lunch, embark on a trek in search for the Mountain gorillas. These massive primates are extremely rare believed to be only 700 remaining. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas spent the previous day. 10 Days Uganda wildlife safariThe thrill of spending time with and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave us with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as the little ones play and interact. We will have a full hour with the gorillas then return to our accommodation for overnight. Gorilla Tracking takes between 30 minutes and 8 hours depending on where the gorillas are found on that day.  Overnight at our lodge depending on where we get the gorilla permits

 

Day 10:  Bwindi to Kampala

Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, we will have brief stop at Mbarar for lunch. After lunch we continue to our drive to Masaka where we will have another stop at Equator for great experience.  Then later proceed to Entebbe or Kampala depending on your next flight.

Our package prices include accommodation and meals, Park entrance fees in all game parks and protected areas mentioned in the itinerary, vehicle hire with fuel and driver guide, boat rides in Queen Elizabeth, Guided nature walks and Ranger guide fees where required, one Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits

Not included in our package prices are tips, drinks, personal insurance, fishing, anything not included in the itinerary. Also not included things of personal nature, e.g. laundry, communication e.t.c.
